Songling Wang is Technical Adviser a vice president of Capital Medical University, a doctoral supervisor, member of the national committee of the Chinese people's political consultative conference and the chairman of the oral biomedicine committee of the Chinese stomatological association. He has won the second prize of national science and technology progress award twice, outstanding contribution expert of ministry of health, and national outstanding science and technology worker.
Major research interests include salivary gland disease, tooth development and regeneration. He has undertaken a number of 973 and 863 projects, national outstanding youth fund, national natural science foundation of China and other key projects. In 1999, he was selected as a cross-century academic leader of the ministry of personnel of China. In 2001, he was awarded the national outstanding youth fund.
